DESwitch Hermes 3/1 BRR
This automotive Ethernet switch is a combined switch ECU designed for the evaluation of multiple communication standards.
TTTech’s automotive Ethernet solutions enable unified Ethernet networks and the convergence of critical and non-critical application data streams on one single network
TTTech has developed a standards-based automotive Ethernet IP solution for switches and endpoints. This solution is based on TTTech’s long-term real-time Ethernet experience in several vertical markets with high electronic robustness requirements,
including aerospace, space and energy segments. Our products support the trend towards increasing bandwidth requirements, higher focus on reliability in networked control systems as well as high availability in fail-safe and fail-operational
applications, like driver assistance systems.
To meet these current and upcoming automotive Ethernet requirements, three traffic classes can be integrated on a single network, while preserving the temporal properties of the critical traffic:
TTTech’s automotive Ethernet solutions enable unified Ethernet networks and the convergence of critical and non-critical application data streams on one single network. The products cover today’s automotive network requirements for flashing,
diagnostics, camera applications, infotainment and driver assistance systems (DAS). In addition, it shows its full potential for the next generation of automotive architectures such as Ethernet-based backbone domain architectures including
fail operational network configurations.
TTTech’s automotive Ethernet switch and endpoint products are currently implemented via FPGAs and enable the connection to any external PHY. Dedicated automotive-rated switch chip solutions with BroadR-Reach® PHY support for automotive volume
production are under development.
