The TTTech Auto data logger family is designed to support a wide range of vehicle interfaces specifically developed for traditional and modern automotive networks:
- Automotive Ethernet 100/1000Base-T1
- Ethernet 1000Base-T
- CAN / CAN-FD
- FlexRay (A and B Channel)
- LIN
- Clamp 15/30
- Serial interfaces
- Analog In/Out
If you need more details on a specific interface, check out our automotive data loggers web page.
The data logger can be customized to fit your specific needs. TTTech Auto offers additional features that allow customers to easily expand and adjust the setup as required, providing flexible options for every customer. We support the following protocols as additional features:
- Multimedia (esotrace, GNLogs)
- XCP over Ethernet
- XCP over FlexRay
- XCP over CAN / CAN-FD
- DLT (support of IPv4 / IPv6)
The recorded data will be stored in the TTTech Auto proprietary data format TTL (Time-Triggered Logging). It offers an open and flexible data structure for easy evaluation of a wide range of applications.
The TTL file can be converted into additional standardized formats:
- MDF/MF4
- BLF
- PCAP/PCAPng
- ASC
TTTech provides the TTX-Data Logger tool, where user can create a new configuration or edit an existing configuration.
Setting up a configuration is intuitive and user-friendly, but for more detailed instructions please refer to the data logger User Manual, which can be downloaded from the TTTech Auto Customer Portal.
The user can upload the configuration in several ways. One option is to connect the data logger to the PC and upload the configuration file via the TTX-Data Logger tool. Alternatively, the configuration file can be saved on a USB-Stick, inserted into the data logger and uploaded directly on the logger.
It is possible to store several configuration files on the data logger. The specific configuration can be easily activated either via the TTX-Data Logger tool or directly on the data logger during the test scenarios.
The TTX-Data Logger installer version or portable version can be downloaded from TTTech Auto Customer Portal.
The logged data can be easily analyzed by opening the trace file in the TTX-DataLogger tool. The user can search for specific frames by applying filters. Additionally, TTTech Auto provides a Frame Statistic calculation, which offers a comprehensive overview of all interfaces logged in the trace file.
Furthermore, since the TTL file is an opened data format, users can upload it into an external third-party tool, to analyze it, or convert it into different file formats.
The TTX-DataLogger installer version or portable version can be downloaded from the TTTech Auto Customer Portal.
The PM-300 data logger has a built-in SSD with a capacity of up to 4TB. Additionally, the entire data logger family provides the option to record on an external USB device.
The capture modules PT-15B and PT-20MG are automotive ethernet extensions for the PM-300 data logger.
The PT-15B capture module provides additional 12x 100BASE-T1 interfaces for logging data and debugging.
The PT-20MG capture module provides additional 6x 1000BASE-T1 interfaces for logging data and debugging.
