In the test, modules for Object Detection and Vehicle Control, integrated as DDS applications, communicate over Ethernet. Additional best-effort data is induced to overload the network, simulating real-world conditions. When TSN is switched off, the vehicle fails to execute the evasive maneuver due to critical data not being prioritized across the network. However, with TSN activated, the vehicle successfully avoids the obstacle, demonstrating the pivotal role of TSN in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the system.
