We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Working Student to join our team part-time in Vienna. In this role, you will have direct contact with the Logistics responsible, located in Barcelona. You will be in charge of physical goods received and outgoing goods from the Vienna office, recording all transactions in the system, contacting freight companies, and preparing and tracking all relevant import/export documentation (customs clearance, country of origin, delivery note, etc). This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is eager to apply theoretical knowledge in practice while developing professional skills in an international environment.

Your Tasks:

  • Support day-to-day logistics operations 
  • Goods Entry of received materials in AT (with or without material code, with or without Serial Numbers) – Tool: SAP and Jira
  • Goods Issue of outgoing materials (close contact with Log Iberia, Project Management and other stakeholders).
  • SAP transactions related to Purchasing & RMA – Update to Purchasing and Inventory management
  • Return Material update and follow-up (Tool: Issue Tracker) – Currently, this task is not performed by the intern, so we can remove it
  • Preparation of the boxes/pallets to be dispatched
  • Distribution of the inbound goods to the corresponding recipients
  • Receipt/Purchase packaging material and stock management of this material
  • Booking of shipments at the forwarder’s website and issues management, ensuring material is delivered on time.
  • Tracking and follow up and recording of Proof of Deliveries.
  • Preparing shipping documentation as a Delivery Note, Packing List, and Proforma Invoice
  • Preparing documentation such as Certificate A TR, EUR1, requesting Certificate of Origin, and Delivery Note
  • Reporting of incoming goods at Operngasse or possible returns received (aligning with Logx Iberia). Documents record and archive
  • Gather information that may be missing in shipment requests received from Project Management

Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Handy person to pack boxes, use a trans pallet, carry urgent packages to our different offices etc.
    Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of 38.000 € gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
