Tailored to the automotive market

Zetta Auto is a data-centric communication solution developed by TTTech Auto and ZettaScale Technology, focusing on safe, performant, and predictable Serviced-Oriented Architecture (SOA) communication.

It brings a robust and secure data-centric communication solution with end-to-end timing properties harnessing the capabilities of Data Distribution Service (DDS), Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Eclipse Zenoh protocol, a highly innovative pub/sub/query protocol that unifies data in motion, data at rest, and computation from embedded microcontrollers to the data center.

Zetta Auto addresses key customer needs for in-vehicle communication, lays the foundation for future cloud connectivity requirements, and covers safe communication requirements up to ISO 26262 ASIL-D with the Certified Edition coming in early 2024.

Zetta Auto is currently available in Early Access and some features are still under development. It is scheduled to be widely available by Q4 2023.

Zetta Auto is built on 20+ years of distributed computing, high performance protocols and safe communication know-how. Built from proven open technologies, namely Cyclone DDS and Zenoh, Zetta Auto addresses the most challenging communication needs of the automotive industry, bringing to the market the most advanced communication stack for Software-Defined Vehicles.

The innovation you can trust

Years of experience with distributed, safety-critical and real-time communication injected into Zetta Auto.

OEMs, Tier 1s and technology partners in TTTech Auto's network.

Successfully implemented innovation projects based on ZettaScale Cyclone DDS and Zenoh protocols.

Supports Cyclone DDS, the best DDS implementation on the market and Zenoh, the most innovative, scalable and efficient protocol yet.

The best solution for your complex automotive projects

Evolve your system through OMG DDS standards-based solution compliant with OMG DDS v1.4, OMG IDL4 v4.2 and OMG DDS-RTPS v2.5 specifications, bringing a best-in-class developer experience with C, C++ and Python APIs.

Solution built from the ground up for scalability, performance and security based on 20+ years of experience.

The most secure DDS implementation on the market, interoperable through the adoption of a common set of protocols (DDSI-RTPS 2.5, DDS-Security 1.1). Includes pre-built or user-defined security plug-ins for Authentication, Authorization and data Encryption.

Optimal performance with zero copy shared memory technologies in a completely transparent way; Unlike other DDS implementations, application developers do not need to use extra APIs or extra annotations to their data models which makes the user application code completely location independent.

Built together with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) to create functionality with end-to-end timing properties and bundled with the complementary TSN tooling.

Comes with a rich set of tooling to monitor the DDS-based applications at the scale of the entire network.

Optimized deployment on microcontrollers (MCUs) based on Zenoh-Pico seamlessly integrated with AUTOSAR Classic through automated tooling.

Zetta Auto is interoperable with Robot Operating System (ROS).

ISO 26262 ASIL-D (Automotive Safety Integrity Level-D) certification coming in early 2024.

ZettaScale Technology and TTTech Auto provide world class support and maintenance services, delivering a timely, reliable service to every customer’s business success.

Zetta Auto's on-vehicle technology stack seamlessly integrates with the Zetta Platform as a Service (PaaS) for V2X.
